Nollywood actress Faithia Williams is mourning the loss of her beloved mother, who passed away on the eve of her 55th birthday celebration.
The heartbreaking news was kept from her until after her birthday party, held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, to spare her the emotional pain on her special day
In an emotional tribute, Faithia described her mother as her “cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend, and gist partner wrapped in the invaluable gift of a mother”. She expressed gratitude for the solace she has found in Allah and requested prayers and support for herself and her siblings during this difficult period
The actress had turned 55 on Thursday, February 5, but chose to celebrate with friends and family on Sunday. Guests at the star-studded event included Funke Akindele, Pasuma, Kazim Adeoti, and Shaffy Bello, among others
