Kingsley Okonkwo, the founder of David’s Christian Centre, has addressed the criticism he faced after a video revealing a new tattoo on his arm circulated online.
In an interview with News Central Africa, Okonkwo challenged his critics, arguing that their objections were based on personal or denominational preferences rather than clear biblical doctrine.
“There is no scripture that says a child of God cannot have tattoos. So people are doing personal preference… that’s not how this works,” he said.
The cleric demanded that anyone criticising his choice provide explicit scriptural evidence to support their stance.
