Eze’s brace gives Arsenal temporary summit lead respite as Iwobi scores in Fulham win.

Arsenal sealed a dominant 4-1 win over Tottenham in their English Premier League (EPL) encounter at the London Stadium on Sunday.
Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokores scored twice each to halt Arsenal’s two-match winless run, with Eze netting once in each half to prove his derby credentials again, while Gyokores’ strikes came in the second period.
Tottenham had a new manager, Igo Tudor, on the bench, but his presence could not inspire Spurs, who conceded the first goal on 32 minutes when Eze volleyed from inside the six-yard box to put Arsenal in front. The lead lasted just two minutes, no thanks to a mistake in defence. Declan Rice was dispossessed by Randal Kolo Muani, who slotted the ball into the bottom corner to ensure both sides went into the break level.
The Gunners, however, roared into the lead two minutes after the break through Viktor Gyokores’ excellent strike, before Eze completed his brace- and fifth goal against Tottenham this season- when he dispatched a loose ball into the net on 61 minutes.
There was still time for Gyokores to hold off a defender and curl an effort into the far corner to add more gloss to the scoreline, as Arsenal made it five consecutive wins over their local rivals, who have now lost their last four EPL matches at home to Arsenal for the first time since 1955.
Mikel Arteta’s side are on 61 points from 28 matches, five ahead of second-placed Man City, who have a game in hand in the title race.
In other matches, Alex Iwobi scored one and assisted another as Fulham won 3-1 at Sunderland in a match in which Calvin Bassey, his compatriot, also won a penalty that was converted.
Ola Aina, however, lost with Nottingham Forest, who succumbed to a last-gasp Alexis Mac Allister goal, losing 1-0 to Liverpool at the City Ground, while Tolu Arokodare missed a penalty and saw his Wolverhampton Wanderers team succumb to a 1-0 defeat at Crystal Palace.
RESULTS
Tottenham 1-4 Arsenal
Nottingham Forest 0-1 Liverpool
Crystal Palace 1-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers
